Pagan Restaurant is one of our all-time favorite hidden gems in San Francisco - seriously no-one has caught onto this place yet! When anyone asks for a 'secret' recommendation, this is always our go-to (secret is out now I guess). This spot is an incredible Thai & Burmese cuisine, divided into the two cuisines on two separate sides of the menu. The Tea Leaf Salad is to die for, the Samosa Soup is to die for, and the curries are unbelievable. We're still working our way through the entire menu, but can report back soon :)

The food was awesome. Samusas are filled with spices and potatoes, delicious. Burmese tea is super nice, kinda like sweet milk tea. Coconut chicken noodle soup is bomb

This place is a hole in the way. I got Pad Thai and tea leaf salad and both were mediocre. Pad Thai noodles were too thick and flavor was lacking.
Tea leaf salad was just ok. I'm not a fan of the lettuce, I like authentic cabbage more. I liked the one at Kyusu San Jose better. -

Obviously need to have the tea leaf salad, Samusa soup and roti. 9 out of 10 times the service has been good but 10 our of 10 for the food always being on point.

Had brunch here today--lots of good brunch items, friendly staff. There were five of us, and being able to reserve a table for brunch in this neighborhood is a real plus. Nice wine selection too. I had the prasopita, which is a potato and spinach cake with a poached egg. Really good.
